New in 2006, Centrix Bank established the Community Investment Program (CIP) as an extension of the Bank’s traditional community service efforts.  The CIP serves two primary functions:

  • Provides Centrix Bank an effective process in planning the Bank’s annual charitable giving;
  • Provides non-profit organizations and agencies a guide in learning how the Bank approaches philanthropy and annual commitments; and a process for requesting assistance in compliance with the CIP criteria.

Community Investment Policy

In six short years, Centrix Bank has made substantial strides towards becoming a meaningful part of the community.  There are hundreds of organizations that look to citizens and businesses for support.  The Community Investment Policy is the Bank’s way of carefully addressing each prospect within a consistent process.

Opportunities are carefully evaluated on an annual basis and Bank support is then given to those that best fit the Bank’s community service initiatives.  The Policy is a guide for the Bank to evaluate sponsorships, and signature and non-signature corporate giving.

By putting a well-defined policy in place, Centrix Bank is taking charitable giving, philanthropic engagements, and volunteer service work to the next level in the communities in which the Bank has a professional presence.

Community Calls

Equally as important as being involved in the support of non-profit agencies and programs, is becoming involved within the community at a grassroots level.

Annually, Centrix Bank engages in one-on-one meetings with elected officials in the towns and cities the Bank services.  During personal meetings with the mayor and/or other designated community officials, the Bank takes the time to learn more about the needs of each community. After meeting, Centrix Bank carefully evaluates the needs discussed to consider how the Bank can become involved.

Projects may include, but certainly not be limited to:  historical renovations, park restorations, citywide clean-up initiatives, memorial construction, and so forth.

Corporate Commitments
